HUEL REVIEW: the scientific way to lose weight
Huel is a nutritionally complete powdered meal which I'm using as part of a scientific approach to losing weight recommended by diabetes expert, Professor Roy Taylor (see https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/how-to-lose-weight-and-live-longer-by-britains-top-diabetes-expert-sztghr2wz).
He recommends overweight adults shed 15kg over 8 weeks by consuming no more than 800 calories daily. This can be done with normal food, but it's much easier if you use a nutritionally complete powdered food like Huel.
I'm also using the Withings Move hybrid watch (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6GAaC7qdQQ) to monitor my exercise and the Withings Body Cardio smart scales (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTniQAjyUjA) to monitor my progress.
I started the diet (Huel for lunch. Then Huel plus veg for supper, or sometimes a proper supper, or sometimes Huel plus whatever is in the larder) on 21st January 2020, weighing in at 94.3kg.
UPDATE: 23rd January 2020: 92.8kg
UPDATE 6th February 2020: 91.5kg
UPDATE: 3rd July 2020: 87.4kg
UPDATE: 15th Feb 2021: 92.8kg. Raided the cookie jar too many times. Almost back up to where I was before. So now going on 'Huel only' for next 8 weeks.
